Greenpainters will also conduct a business & trade training forum on Saturday 1 May in the seminar rooms at the show for professional use of energy smart & environmentally healthier painting & coating application.

Painting contractors who wish to improve their sustainability are being invited to participate in the GreenPainters program, the national sustainability initiative for the painting industry. Training is being provided at the Going Green Expo in Melbourne this month through the new accredited Course in Sustainable Painting Practices which was developed by Sustainability Victoria to improve environmental awareness amongst painting contractors.

 The training is aimed at preparing painters for the needs of the green building industry, eco-conscious consumers;  and to improve environmental management in the industry in general.
