Following the launch event in Melbourne last year, the exhibition moved to Brisbane and was hosted by Queensland from 18-20 September 2009. Designed as a mainstream insight into what every business and individual across the state can contribute to reducing Queensland’s collective environmental footprint the event attracted thousands of visitors and business delegates from across the state.
Queensland is recognised as a progressive state and the home of many of Australia’s leading environmentally responsible initiatives, solutions and eco-friendly product suppliers.
Going Green Expo will serve to consolidate and further encourage a community culture which encourages development and implementation of environmental sustainability.

The Employment, Industry Development and Innovation agency within DEEDI supports and assists the development of Queensland businesses, industries and regions. It also provides access to research, technology, investment and innovative practices to enhance productivity, sustainability and export growth.
QFleet, the Department of Public Works
QFleet is a commercial business unit of the Department of Public Works and is the
Queensland Government’s provider of vehicle leasing and fleet management services. QFleet is also a responsible vendor of quality ex-lease Government vehicles. QFleet believes in leading by example and is accelerating greener future initiatives by proactively reducing government fleet emissions.
